I am the dream, the dreamed and the dreamer
Dream artist
I was born in a part of the world deeply influenced by Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism and Shamanism in South Korea. Later, I was adopted and raised in France within a Christian family. Throughout my life, I travelled extensively and lived in different countries, searching for a deeper understanding of who I was and why I had experienced such traumatic and chaotic circumstances.
As an adult, I returned to my native country and reconnected with my roots. During this profound journey into the unknown, I uncovered the truth of my personal history, a story that was radically different from the one I had grown up believing.
In 2014, following a transformative spiritual encounter with my deceased Korean mother, I was drawn into the world of shamanism. There, I discovered that I came from a long lineage of women shamans. This inward journey led me into the depths of my personal unconscious, while also opening a doorway to ancestral and collective realms of memory.
As I reconnected with my culture and my ancestors, a powerful creative impulse emerged. Painting, movement, dance, and dreamwork became central to my life. For nearly three years, I lived in a strange and liminal state of being. Only later did I understand that this period had been an initiation into art, guided by the wisdom of my inner child.
Through this process, I learned to give form, colour, and movement to the rich and complex landscapes of my inner world. Dreams, imagination, and realms beyond the reasoning mind became living sources of inspiration, allowing me to explore and express different states of consciousness through artistic creation.
