About Me

I was born in a part of the world heavily influenced by Buddhism, from a long lineage of a family of shamans, I was then raised in a Christian home in my new adoptive country, France. I travelled to and lived in different countries in search of myself trying to understand who I was and why I came to experience traumatic and chaotic circumstances.

As an adult, I returned to my native country where I reconnected with my past. During this deep and unknown exploration, I discovered my personal story which was completely different from what I had known.

In 2014, after a transformative spiritual connection with my deceased Korean mother, I dived into the world of shamanism. I discovered that I came from a long lineage of women shamans. This inward journey transported me to explore the landscape of my own personal unconscious memory as well as the ancestral, universal memory.

Along with this re-connection to my culture and my Ancestors, came the inspiration for art, painting, dancing as well as remembering all my dreams. I spent almost 3 years in a strange state, it is only after I came out of that period that I realized it was an initiatic path into art, guided by my inner child. I was able to feel, express and give forms and colours to my rich and complex  inner world of dreams, realms beyond the reason and spirits.

Creative imagination such as dreams, dancing, singing, sounding and spending time in nature are an integral part of my life which have a direct influence on my artistic expressions.  My paintings are the tangible traces of the internal explorations into the memory beyond this reincarnation.

With a spark of immense curiosity and a sense of wonder, I explore the vast possibilities of what it means to be a human being with all its inherent limitations as well as its immense potential. I allow my deep connection to the mysteries of Creation to remember the meaning of being alive and to honour this precious, frigile yet powerful gift of being human dancing through the  fields of possibilities.

More about Archelya

So far, I've had 4 official names, 2 korean and 2 French ones and while I still resonate with the first name Elisabeth, from the Hebrew Elisheva (Oath of God), I knew that a new name was emerging from the field of possibilities. A name that reflected the soul's blueprint in this lifetime. I was listening to a podcast on Ibn Arabi , when I heard the word Archelya, I had a reaction to it, it sounded like a familiar name and a name that was ancient and infinite. I was then searching where the word Archelya came from but I couldn't find any information,  I realised that the word used in the podcast was Hurqalia, not Archelya.

According to Sufi mystics, there is an independant realm of " suspended images", an inter-world between the realm of the pure intellect and the realm of senses called Hurqalia. However this realm has many different names and a week ago I read an autobiography of a Siberian psychiatrist who goes on a dreamy and visionary journey into the world of Siberian shamanism and 3 pages before the end of the book, it mentions a very ancient and spiritually advanced cilvilisation which existed many thousands of years ago in the heart of the Altai mountains. It says that the people of this ancient civilisations travelled far and wide from Europe to Asia, to the middle East. This realm that existed is sometimes also called Shambala or Hurqalia.
