Flow State

Immersive Sound and Movement Weaving
Flow state is a multi-sensory live event that welcomes both active participation and quiet introspection. It invites participants into a softly lit, contemplative space where participants can experience sound as a tool for healing, grounding, and collective presence. The experience is structured into two interconnected parts:
-Interactive Sound immersion
Participants are gently guided to engage with simple percussive instruments, breath, vocal toning, or movement, accessible to all levels and abilities. These co-created soundscapes foster community and encourage embodied exploration.
Following this tuning together, participants are invited to surrender to stillness while being enveloped by a live sound bath featuring: Channelled voice and ancestral songs, light language transmissions, harmonic improvisation and many traditional sacred instruments like the Tam Tam Gong, Shamanic Drum, Tibetan Singing Bowls & Bells, Rainsticks...
The attendees are invited to journey inward and to let the waves of the sounds bring a subtle work of healing and transformation. Participants are invited to gradually visualise and sense the internal movements and allow the body to express in whatever form it may move in resonance with the music. This part will be a guided through body exploration.
-Movement , gesture, dance
Human as holons, interaction with the environment and others.
The second part of the journey will invite participant to gradually become more aware of the surroundings, the invitation here is to explore through movement how we still keep our connection to what we feel and sense inside within a wider environment, the floor, the lighting, the music, the other movers, the different energies in the room, and interact with it.
Our body holds vast memory and emotions, many of them are not readily accessible through the conscious mind however when we are in a very relaxed, safe and open space, we can feel subtle changes in tension, movements, gestures, internal shifts that can be felt and expressed if we simply allow them. We let go of the outer form and what we think we know to give space, voice and expression, however they come, as a direct sensorial experience of our inner world and how we resonate with the music, sounds, outer and inner landscape.
Our body has its own rhythm, attuned to the natural rhythm of the Earth, much slower than the collectively created modern world we live-in, this session is an open invitation to feel, see, observe, contemplate and express our own unique rhythm, colours, movement and pace.
It is the inner journey of the cells, organs, muscles, blood, water, neurones and electric impulses, parts of us that we often forget and have very little relationship with as we live in a fragmented and fast-paced life
This project is designed to:
-
Offer a space of stillness, grounding and journey into our inner landscape.
-
Encourage intuitive listening and embodied presence
-
Include audiences of all backgrounds and abilities, with creative freedom that engage people in a way that feels safe, free and authentic.
-
Flow State also aligns with the Gallery’s interest in socially engaged and holistic practices bridging ancestral knowledge, somatic practice, and contemporary sound art.
-
This co-creative space is an experience we create together with every participant, allowing sound and movement to emerge from the space of presence to ourselves.
