Love is the ability to make the invisible visible

"Love is the ability to make the invisible visible and the desire to always seek the invisible in one's mist" Ibn Arabi

Ibn Arabi, regarded by some as a Saint, understood love as a theophanic force, the power by which the unseen, the invisible longs to be manifested and seen. The lover becomes a mirror polished "enough" for the Truth, the Real to recognize itself where presence and absence interpenetrate. He initiated the concept of Unity of Existence, the belief that all existence is a manifestation of a singular reality.

And it is this experience of Life, in the intimate relationship with the invisible that creation is manifested though my artistic practices, they are all different expressions of my direct experience of reality as a spectral dream in reflection I experienced during dreamstate and altered-states of consciousness in which, upon "waking up", I felt an indescribable sense of peace, I didn't feel the need to be loved or even to love, it was an intimate knowing of void, nothingness of existence without form, these experiences have had a subtle yet profound impact on my perception of reality.

My exhibition is an invitation to this world, a convincing dream of manifested prima materia through forms, colours, movements.

Art is not separate from life, life is not separate from love and love is the invisible bridge that connects everything with everything else, it is the cosmic wide web of existence.

Our imaginal capacity to translate that invisible bridge into forms that can be understood, felt, experienced, sensed or perceived is what lies at the heart of being human.

Active manifestation of Mu 무 : Mu is a philosophical concept meaning no, without, nothingness, void, emptiness.

Korean shamanism is known as Muism, which represents the holistic, indigenous spiritual framework of the people of Korea, functioning as a complete religious system that predates major imported traditions like Buddhism and Confucianism. It centers on mediating the relationship between the human world and the spiritual realm for societal harmony and individual well-being.
